Another–Rather Large–Tiny House On A Trailer

I recently discovered this tiny house on a trailer thanks to Michael Janzen’s TinyHouseLiving.com Newsletter.  As the title implies I thought it was one of the larger houses on a trailer that I’ve seen recently.

You’ll notice that the roof is built so that there is way more room up in the loft.  I guess the only downside to this is that it is more top heavy and you have to be a little more careful when towing.

I love this house though because it has a big refrigerator, stairs (not a ladder) to the loft, and overall just a more spacious feel to it.

The couple have gone from living on a 5th wheel trailer and into their new and awesome tiny house on wheels.  Go pay them a visit at their blog, Tales of a Tiny Homestead.

Hi there! Thanks for the shout out….I was reading about all of the other amazing tiny houses on your site and scrolled down and saw…..ours! Laughs!
We’re really enjoying living in it and will be installing the woodstove in the next little bit before the weather turns too nasty out here (I hate being cold!). We’ve taken it on test tows and it actually handles quite well, even at freeway speeds! We are getting just about the same gas mileage that we were while towing our 5th wheel (16mpg), so we can’t complain about that at all :o )
Thanks for all of your work posting about us “little guys”. It’s always fun to keep track of how everyone’s homes are coming along.
    Namaste,
    Olivia

Hey Olivia! Thanks for saying hello. That’s awesome that you are pretty much getting the same gas mileage, I’ve wondered about that. Talk to you later.
