Tiny Shed House
This tiny shed house is actually intended to be a little workshop but I know that some of us would attempt to squeeze in here as a vacation cottage or something.
It’s only 8′ x 8′ so 64 square feet… Not quite enough for living but it can most definitely work as a backyard office or hobby room.
And who knows… Maybe it is enough for a get away cottage as long as you don’t mind being outside a lot.

Here are some more fun shed style tiny houses from the same people:

This following one is called Ashland Garden Sanctuary (has a loft)….

64 sq. ft.? They look kind of nice in their own humble way, but I agree, that’s too small for full-time living, even if you could cram a loft in there. Like you said, it might be suitable as a weekend getaway with a deck or patio. My smallest plan at shoestring-homes.com is 192 sq. ft. That’s just a tad more than twice the size of the shed we’re discussing, and mine’s based on a shed design too.
I like these sheds. Could I live in ones of the size mentioned? No. But I can certainly keep the original design in my head while I expand it to the 250 to 400 sq ft I would be comfortable in.
Yeah it’s definitely too small. It can still make a great office or writing studio though! Thanks for coming by Jay.
David, a larger size with the same design would be really cool!
