It’s always fun when you find a new small house while you’re walking, riding bike, or driving around your neighborhood.
Last week I ran into this tiny house somewhere I didn’t expect there could be one. Which goes to show that sometimes you just have to do it.
Sometimes fear can hold you back but check out how someone out there turned this shed into what looks like a livable little home. Do you think it’s still a place to store things? Or a tiny office?
I don’t know because you can see they even made an overhang above the door so you wouldn’t get wet if it’s raining and your fumbling for your keys.

What are your thoughts on shed-based houses? I think sheds are a great choice if you’re on a budget because they’re very inexpensive and can be insulated then completely converted for camping in the yard.
If I had the money, I’d go with a Tumbleweed House.

Today Tammy and Logan pointed out how Oprah is experimenting with uncluttering her life.
Do you remember the last time you were in a hotel room? They’re usually about 300 square feet and perfectly organized to meet your more simplified needs.
I think you can look back at a time when you have stayed in a small space like this. And you probably loved it and wished you could find a place like this to live in.

But what does Oprah talking about simplifying her life mean for us?
- More minimalists
- Over flooded landfills
- More “get rid of your stuff” blogs
- Rise in the purchase/inventory of second hand goods
I’m exaggerating, but you get the picture. Obviously the word is getting around. The momentum is there. People now know that they don’t need their stuff to make them happy.
The next few years look very interesting. Especially with the acceleration of technology and how we’re all using it to make our lives better/different.
If that last sentence interests you, go have a read at EvBogue.com.
