Remember Jenine’s tiny house?  Faircompanies went out to interview Amy and her about their two tiny house projects.

The first is Jenine’s actual house which she built pretty much 100% of recycled materials that she found in dumps and on craigslist–all for less than $3,500!

Her first house was such a success that she and Amy decided they would construct another one so that they can put it up for sale when they finish.  And that ended up being a success as well.

I recently discovered this tiny house on a trailer thanks to Michael Janzen’s TinyHouseLiving.com Newsletter.  As the title implies I thought it was one of the larger houses on a trailer that I’ve seen recently.

You’ll notice that the roof is built so that there is way more room up in the loft.  I guess the only downside to this is that it is more top heavy and you have to be a little more careful when towing.

I love this house though because it has a big refrigerator, stairs (not a ladder) to the loft, and overall just a more spacious feel to it.

The couple have gone from living on a 5th wheel trailer and into their new and awesome tiny house on wheels.  Go pay them a visit at their blog, Tales of a Tiny Homestead.

Last month Kent Griswold had a really unique post on Jenine’s modern tiny house.  It’s like many of the popular tiny houses we’re all talking about lately–built on a trailer and all that, but this one is pretty unique…

Kent had a chance to stop by and have a look himself.  It’s 8′ x 16′ of living space built on a dual axle flatbed trailer.  It’s supposed to be ready by this month and they’re going to sell it for $25,000.
