Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius—and a lot of courage—to move in the opposite direction.

In what ways can you simplify your life today?

Here are some ideas.

  1. Declutter just one small space. Don’t try to do your entire house or even an entire room. I chose to declutter my desk today.
  2. Sell or give away something that you haven’t used in a while. Go look in your closet, garage or chest for these things. Find a way to let somebody else use it.
  3. Stop worrying and start to do something about it. Whatever it is that is stressing you out in life right now, think about it for a moment. Is it something that is in your control? If not, let it go. If it is grab a blank sheet of paper and write down 20 ways in which you can start to  improve your situation.

Thanks for coming by and see you tomorrow.

I’m going to start adding some inspirational quotes to my posts because I think we all could use it, including myself…

“We don’t need to increase our goods nearly as much as we need to scale down our wants.  Not wanting something is as good as possessing it.”
~Donald Horban

In what ways can you simplify your life today?

  • Give something away
  • Sell things that you no longer use
  • Make an inventory of the things you use

In what ways can you be thankful for that which you do have…

  • Food, water, shelter, health and family
  • Money and income that you do have
  • Opportunity that just needs to be noticed and acted upon

See you next time and have a wonderful day
