Shed Turned Into Backyard Office

This backyard shed turned into an incredibly awesome little office/studio.  It’s the work space of Steve Hearn of Pencil Dreams which is an art blog I follow.

I think you guys will enjoy the really quick tour of his studio.  Have a look and then follow him over to his blog at Pencil Dreams.

It really shows you what you can do with a shed or a tiny house!

Tiny Shed House

This tiny shed house is actually intended to be a little workshop but I know that some of us would attempt to squeeze in here as a vacation cottage or something.

It’s only 8′ x 8′ so 64 square feet… Not quite enough for living but it can most definitely work as a backyard office or hobby room.

And who knows… Maybe it is enough for a get away cottage as long as you don’t mind being outside a lot.

Here are some more fun shed style tiny houses from the same people:

Tiny House in the woods and Inspiration June 16 2010

tiny-house-in-the-woods

I ran into this awesome picture that stbeck posted on Flickr, he always adds interesting pictures of small structures.  I noticed right away that it had tail lights and is actually sitting on a trailer so it’s sort of like a hut on wheels.  I wonder what it’s doing in the woods!

I also wanted to follow up with an awesome quote from Bill Strickland.  He’s an incredible entrepreneur who wrote Make the Impossible Possible which I’ve recently read and highly recommend for everyone.

“The sand in the hourglass flows only one way. Don’t waste precious time chasing someone else’s definition of success. Live your life with purpose now. Look for the things that inspire you, trouble you, make you feel most alive, and trust in those things to shape your future. They will give you all your heart could ever wish for.”
Bill Strickland

Enjoy your day!
