Tiny Motorhome based on an Astro

I was browsing through an awesome forum that I found today.  The topic I was browsing through is about van campers.  I had never seen a van conversion like this one–absolutely awesome!

It’s a 2005 astrovan converted by Provan to a Tiger GT camper.  Sadly, Provan does not do these conversions anymore.

For more pictures visit the thread at ExpeditionForums, where I found it.  Warning:  You might be there for a few hours.  There are lots of awesome pictures there.  Enjoy!

Thanks Suntinez for sharing this on the expeditionportal!

Car Towing an RV Trailer

I’m always intrigued by cars towing RVs, especially ones like this where it’s not something small like a teardrop trailer… This is a good sized trailer being pulled by an ordinary car.

Picture was taken by Lya Cattel.

Mobile Motel

I thought this was very unique. It’s a motel on wheels. Here is some information on it from the photographer…

This bus slash sleeper unit is estimated to accommodate 12 people and is hired by Europeans to tour through the Rocky mountains all the way up to Alaska and stopping at all the hot spots or cool spots along the way. One of the passengers said the driver is a good cook.

So I guess they use this to travel and go sight seeing. It looks like a unique and cost effective way to travel.
